Our 2010 Xstrata Zinc Australia Sustainability Report is a showcase of our improvements on the previous year, including a 43% increase in community investments to $3.3 million, a 12% increase in the number of employees engaged (including a 5% increase in women) and substantial improvements in safety performance. The 2010 calendar year was a significant one for Xstrata Zinc Australia resulting in record levels of production and direct benefits to the Australian economy valued at more than $784 million.
